Hi, my name’s Joel: Welsh born, Bristol based art director and designer with 8 years professional experience working in the advertising and marketing industry.

I have a key interest in concept-driven design solutions: simple communication born from a strong idea, a powerful message refined into something beautiful that resonates with people and creates real behavioural change — this is the stuff that fires me up!

Over the course of my career I’ve focused on shaping myself into a well rounded creative, equally skilled as a designer and conceptual thinker proven in a wide range of disciplines. I love collaborating on advertising campaigns, researching and interrogating creative briefs to unlock necessary insights, as well as developing and rolling out brand identities. I don’t hold back from sharing unconventional ideas or providing constructive feedback, I thrive on seeing things from new angles and thinking differently.
