High contrast, high concept pop culture inspired poster designs
I’ve been an avid collector of alternative movie posters (AMPs) for almost a decade and I’m often inspired to sketch concepts for some of my favourite films with the intention of one day turning them into full poster designs.
These are just a few I’ve completed, mostly using stock photography and designed at 18x24 inches for 1-colour screen printing.
Each poster starts as a post-it note sketch, the small size helps me focus on making the composition bold and simple.
